The merchant is unreliable.
I had booked an appointment last Sunday on: 5th of January 2025 and the merchant cancelled it.
The Merchant (Ruth, 2 Townsend Road, Swinton
M27 6SH ).
The merchant agreed to issue me a refund.
But the Groupon UK refused to issue me a refund.
I have a screenshot that she texted me to say that she was snowed in 2) I had an appointment with the same merchant yesterday on 12th of January 2025 at 3pm and she stood me up
I turned up in my appointment and the merchant had their blinds of their salon shut.
I was waiting in the freezing cold for ages (I have screenshots that I asked the merchant to respond to my 7 phonecalls and the merchant stood me up when she supposedly to be in for my appointment
However I provided to Groupon.UK with all the relevant information & screenshots to highlight what happened.
Groupon refused to issue me a refund.
The Merchant (Ruth, 2 Townsend Road, Swinton
M27 6SH ). had agreed to issue me a refund.
But the Groupon UK refused to issue me a refund

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
I purchased a sparkling afternoon tea for my daughter for Christmas at Bistrot Pierre, but they are not using Groupon now. I need a refund but can't get hold of anyone.
Bistrot Pierre says Groupon should refund my money; they say online because I purchased it on 7th December, it's over the 14 days.
So, no afternoon tea and no refund, what do I do? Do I lose £34.95?
Bought cinema tickets vue - when you go to book ends up being the same price as advertised without groupon so waste of time. Tried to cancel booking - it says no - can’t get refund -& can’t call

Bought a Kono bag 12 August 2024 Order # 100324****.
The zippers wont go in to lock the bag. No, reply to email I sent for assistance to reset the lock since 3rd December, 2024 (as theres no reset button).
Otherwise, the bag should be replaced.

Verified ReviewerDreadful Customer Service on-line chat box 5 different customer service on chat each one left without resolving issues which was Groupons Fault. Cinema Codes not working, Restraunt under construction!
The restaurant was closed for construction, so I was unable to use my prepaid meal voucher. Another restaurant failed to honor a voucher that was within its valid date, forcing me to pay out of pocket.
The cinema ticket codes were not recognized, resulting in a loss of tickets and additional payment. Groupon's offshore chat box system is ineffective; the representatives seem clueless about resolving issues and frequently disconnect the chat prematurely. This is the worst customer service experience I have had. I am out more than £120 with nothing to show for it, while Groupon continues to boost their annual returns.
Groupon, you need to invest in your customers as we are essentially keeping your company afloat. As a long-standing customer, I am appalled by the lack of a contact number, and the only method of reaching out is through these grossly incompetent offshore representatives who clearly have no understanding of what customer service means. Please revive the call system and keep it domestic.
Another human who cares about customer service would be greatly appreciated. As it stands, I've had enough of Groupon, as have many of my recently aggrieved friends.

The website did not show that the order was confirmed so 3 vouchers were bought in error.
2 were quickly refunded but when we tried to redeem the remaining one we couldnt do so.
3 online chats and 19 emails later it still hasnt been resolved.
My emails are now being ignored.

Verified Buyer |I booked a Stena Ferry through Groupon as there was a promise of a £35 voucher if I paid over a certain amount. Your link took me straight through to Stena and I purchased a journey .
As the purchase I made with Stena exceeded the required amount of purchase I expected to be notified that I could have the advertised voucher. Unfortunately this has not happened and I am exceedingly disappointed.

I bought 2 vouchers in April 2024 @ £109 each. However, they do not appear on my account.
I have been trying to contact Groupon but they do not make it easy. I've sent 2 emails without a response. It's easy to spend your money, but when you need help, it's impossible to find. I have my receipt.

I have Groupon bucks and every time I try to use them I get the following message:
"We regret to inform you that there was a complication with your recent transaction.
We kindly ask you to attempt the order once more using an alternative payment method." I need more help
I press I need more help and it asks for all my payment details but I'm using GROUPON BUCKS and so bcos I can't put any card details in it simply doesn't let me go any further and I cannot open a Chat and no telephone number ...
